Your Responsibilities as a Snow Removal & Holiday Lighting Team Member
· Front-Line Employee –
- You’re the boots on the ground — the one customers see in action. You’ll provide exceptional service and attention to detail, whether clearing snow or installing holiday lights.
- The team relies on you to perform essential tasks related to snow removal, de-icing, and holiday lighting installation/removal at high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- You must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, often early mornings or late nights, doing physically demanding work and lifting/carrying 35–80 pounds regularly.
- You’ll ensure all tools, vehicles, and materials are properly cleaned, organized, and ready for the next shift or installation.
How We Measure Success
- Attendance: Reliability is critical. Snow and lighting jobs depend on timely response and consistent performance, especially during storms or tight installation schedules.
- Budget vs Actual Hours: Job profitability depends on staying within time and labor targets while maintaining top-quality work.
- Return Rates: You’ll help ensure every job is done right the first time — whether clearing a property completely or ensuring all lights are installed safely and evenly.
- Customer Retention: Delivering dependable, high-quality service and maintaining a professional, courteous presence on-site builds customer trust and loyalty.
- Full Utilization of Software & Processes: Following scheduling, routing, and reporting procedures helps the entire operation run smoothly and efficiently.
