What You’ll Do as a Landscaping Team Lead

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be leading the crew, but you’ll also be working alongside them on landscaping and project installs.

  • Lead the Field: Walk job sites, check for quality control, and ensure equipment is maintained.
  • Work Projects: Actively participate in landscaping, hardscape, and install projects to make sure jobs are completed on time and up to standard.
  • Keep the Team Organized: Structure routes, manage crew schedules, and keep the team on task.
  • Support Your Crew: Provide training, solve staffing challenges, and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
  • Set the Example: Model strong attendance, professionalism, safety, and a great work ethic every day.
  • Close Out the Day: Ensure jobs are completed to standard and everything is prepped for the next day.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have:

  • Prior landscaping or lawn care experience.
  • Experience leading a crew (landscaping, construction, or similar).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Experience pulling and backing trailers (12 ft–20 ft).
  • Ability to complete a background check (criminal history reviewed on a case-by-case basis).
  • Ability to pass a drug test.

Nice to Have:

  • Hardscape or irrigation experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Customer service experience.
  • Willingness to complete any required training and certifications within 6 months.

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • PTO: Paid Time Off available after 1 year.
  • Stability: Year-round work with opportunities for overtime during busy seasons.

  • Extras: Company-provided uniforms, training, and all necessary equipment.
  • Pre-employment: Background check required (case-by-case review for criminal history) and drug test required.
