Position Title: Sales/Estimation/Landscape Design

Location: The Grounds Guys of Pflugerville and Cedar Park

Compensation: $47,840 - $95,000/year, based on experience + incentive bonus programs

Job Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

About the Role:

The Grounds Guys of Pflugerville and Cedar Park/Leander is seeking a confident, skilled individual to join our team in the Sales/Estimation/Landscape Design position. This role is essential to managing and expanding our portfolio, building lasting client relationships, and enhancing our properties' aesthetics and functionality. Key Responsibilities:

Client Management and Sales:

  • Act as the primary client contact, ensuring long-term, positive relationships based on trust and effective communication.
  • Drive renewals for each account within the portfolio, working towards 100% client retention.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor service quality, collaborating closely with the production team to address issues promptly.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, addressing their needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Present new site enhancement ideas to existing clients to improve service and value continually.
  • Identify additional enhancement opportunities and generate new maintenance contracts.

Estimations and New Business Development:

  • Prepare and submit accurate bids for new business, responding to requests promptly.
  • Develop and maintain a network to secure new sales leads.
  • Maximize enhancement opportunities, meeting sales goals and maintaining acceptable gross margins.

Production and Communication:

  • Maintain strong communication with the production manager to align on customer expectations and service delivery.
  • Foster collaboration between customer service and production teams to ensure coordinated service delivery.

Administrative Duties and Revenue Management:

  • Complete all required documentation in the sales process, including sales tracking, estimates, and contracts.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in lawn maintenance, plant material, and horticultural practices.
  • Minimum of an Associate degree in landscape/horticulture or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Horticulture Knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, CRM software, and estimation landscape software as well as Pro Landscape and Structure Studios.
  • Minimum of 2 years in Commercial Landscape Account Management, with experience in customer acquisition and CRM (LMN familiarity preferred).
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
