The Ground Guys of Pflugerville is looking for a passionate landscape industry professional who has a confident attitude, exceptional communication skills, time management, and a success driven approach to fill a Sales/Estimation/Landscape Design position to manage our growing portfolio. A successful candidate will be a team player who is customer oriented and enjoys solving problems. This position offers the opportunity for tremendous growth. Position Description:

The Sales/Estimation/Landscape Design will serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring that The Ground Guys of Pflugerville has a sustained, long-term relationship. The Sales/Estimation/Landscape Design is responsible for the management of client portfolios and property enhancements, focusing on maximizing growth and client retention.

Requirements:

  • Must have strong knowledge in lawn maintenance, plant material and horticultural practices.
  • An associate degree in landscape (or equivalent experience), horticulture or related field a plus.
  • Proficient in basic software like - MS Word, MS Excel, A CRM software, Estimation landscape software
  • Strong communication and problem resolution skill

Essential Task & Responsibilities: Sales/Estimation/Landscape Design:

  • Develop strong positive relationships with customers based on clear and frequent communication, mutual trust and ability to meet the customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain long term, loyal client relationships, which lead to 100% renewals of each account, within the customer portfolio.
  • Performs inspections and monitors quality of service closely.
  • Works with the production manager and management to get problems addressed in a timely manner.
  • Conducts formal meetings with customers that ensure high quality and service expectations are met.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs. Frequent, effective, professional, and timely communication with customers.
  • Assures that the property meets the customer’s standards.
  • Proactively present site enhancement ideas to existing customers.
  • Lead and facilitate the resolution of customer problems or concerns.
  • Develop personal and working relationships with the customer's base throughout their organization.

Estimation and New Sales:

  • Identify new enhancement and penetration opportunities within existing customer portfolio and provide accurate and timely estimates.
  • Generate new maintenance customers and contracts.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely bids for new business.
  • Respond to all inquiries and requests for bids in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all bids/estimates are prepared and approved as needed prior to presenting customer.
  • Responsible for maximizing enhancement opportunities and achieving sales goals.
  • Responsible for accurate estimates and takeoffs as needed.
  • Sell and maintain acceptable gross margins for enhancements that meet company goals.
  • Network and secure new sales opportunities.

Production Communications:

  • Communicate regularly with the production manager to ensure customer needs and expectations are being met and exceeded.
  • Develop strong relationships with the production manager to ensure that customer service and production teams are coordinated on serving customers.

Administrative/Revenue and Profit management:

  • Participate in month end closes.
  • Complete all required paperwork in the sales process (sales tracking, estimates, contracts, enhancements).
  • Renews current customers in a timely manner.
  • Collect outstanding customer Accounts receivables.
  • Maintain satisfactory accounts receivables (A/R) levels (< 45)="" for="" their="" assigned="">
  • Maintain customer profitability.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Education/Job Experience Equivalency:

  • Associates
  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Plant Material identification: 2 years (Required)
  • Computer Software/CRM - LMN: 3 years (Required/Familiarity)
  • Customer acquisition: 3 years (Required)
  • Customer relationship management: 2 years (Required)
  • Commercial Landscape Account Management: 2 years (Required)
  • Requires fluency in English Language - written and spoken

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
