Grounds Maintenance Crew Member / Helper

The Grounds Guys of Sayville is looking for a dependable crew member to join our lawn and landscape team.

This is a physically active outdoor position working alongside an experienced crew leader maintaining residential and commercial properties throughout the Sayville area.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing

Assisting with mulch installations, cleanups, pruning, planting, and other landscape projects

Loading and unloading equipment

Keeping trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and organized

Working safely and efficiently as part of a team

Learning professional landscaping and lawn maintenance practices

What We’re Looking For

Reliable transportation to and from work

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Positive attitude and willingness to learn• Able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day

Shows up on time and ready to work

Takes pride in doing quality work

Experience

Lawn maintenance or landscaping experience is a plus, but not required

We are willing to train the right person

We’re looking for someone dependable. We can teach landscaping skills. We cannot teach work ethic, accountability, and showing up consistently.

Pay: $18-$22/hour depending on experience Full-Time Seasonal Position Opportunities for advancement available.
