Your Responsibilities as a Landscaping Estimator

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates for landscape projects based on customer inquiries.
• Assess project requirements, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide professional recommendations.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure estimates align with company pricing strategies.
• Follow up on estimates to assist in closing sales and securing contracts.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide competitive estimates.
• Track and report on estimate conversions to improve accuracy and effectiveness.

How We Measure Success

• Attendance: Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet with the customers within 24 hours of the request.
• Budget vs Actual: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on accuracy and attention to details.
• Upsells: anticipating the needs of the customers in order to make recommendations for future services.
• Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.
• Data Centric: Focus on key metrics like total estimates, conversion rates, and retention rates help identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all the above possible.

Job Requirements for Landscaping Team Lead

• Prior experience in the landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries will be critical.
• Customer service or sales experience with a strong ability to build relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze project requirements.
• Proficiency in estimating software or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
• Valid Driver's License

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17 per hour plus 1.5% commission on all estimates that are closed.
