We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Fleet Mechanic to join our team and ensure our fleet of vehicles, mowers, trailers, and equipment is in top condition.

Job Summary: The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of our fleet of vehicles. This role requires a thorough understanding of vehicle systems, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to perform a wide range of mechanical repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of vehicle types and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle longevity and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with the fleet management team to schedule and prioritize repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep the workshop and tools organized and in good condition.
• Provide emergency roadside assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in automotive technology preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Experience working on small engines
• Prior welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $31.00 and is dependent on your experience as a Fleet Mechanic.
